Lava Glass Coasters Set

A pair of handmade glass coasters inspired by the Volcanoes of Chile. A unique gift or treat ideal for those who like something original in their home.

The amber and red tones in these glass coasters is inspired by the flow of Lava. The colours also appeal to those who have a love of warm tones.

I make each coaster in my Portsmouth workshop so no two will be exactly the same, each will be your very own piece of glass art.

They are suitable for both hot and cold drinks.

Approximately 10x10cm so great for larger mugs.

The process….

I have cut clear glass to work on as my base and used glass enamel powders and crushed glass to create the Lava flow impression. The glass is then kiln fired to form a smooth flat surface.
